Urdaibai Bird Center
Urdaibai Bird Center is a space open to the public, a great bird research centre and a privileged tideland observatory. It is ultimately a great living nature museum, where birds set the course. An obligatory stop for ornithology lovers and all those who enjoy the spectacle of nature.

Observatory
Ozollo Observatory
Situated in the Ozollo de Gautegiz Arteaga neighbourhood, bordering Arteaga Castle. From here you can see the deepest water zone of the tideland. It is managed by Urdaibai Bird Center and has free access, except on Tuesdays.
Orueta Observatory
It is very near Urdaibai Bird Center, just a few feet away. It is a booth from which birds can be watched in their habitat without being bothered. It is managed by Urdaibai Bird Center and has free access, except on Tuesdays.
San Cristóbal Birdwatching Point
This bird observatory is situated in the San Cristóbal de Busturia neighbourhood and is accessed from the train stop. It has public equipment consisting of a specific observatory booth for watching the tideland and birds.
