MUNDAKA, THE LONGEST LEFT

It is a gift from the sea to this locality and more specifically to lovers of this sport. The Mundaka break is considered the best left break in Europe. Kelly Slater, Mark Occhilupo, Aritz Aramburu and Kepa Acero have all rode the Mundaka break, as well as all the local surfers who enjoy it each year.

The break starts at Mundaka Barra and ends at Laida Beach. It can reach a height of 13 feet and length of 1,312 feet. It is tubular in shape, enabling surfers to look at the entire coast from inside and adding value.

Mundaka has hosted the World Circuit nine times.
