Santa María Church

Pretty 19th century Neoclassical building, very well conceived, small to suit the congregation and built to high quality standards. It was designed by the architect Antonio de Goycoechea, who here left one of his most original works.

Iglesia de Santa Maria de Murueta

Maiukitza Mill

Situated on the edge of the tideland, it was in operation until 1893 and powered by water. Its machinery has not been preserved, but it is still one of the most representative buildings of Basque tide milling.

Murueta Tile Factory

The old Murueta Tile Factory offers a beautiful stamp, along with some rustic wood jetties. It is testament to an industrial past and still maintains its chimney (105 ft) and structure.
