These are much more than “points of sale.” They are history and tradition and the best opportunity to buy the products of our local field workers. Fruits, vegetables, cheeses… direct contact with the producers and the best advice!
MARKETS
Field workers and producers offer their best goods at weekly markets, and who better than them to advise us on our purchase, its uses and sustainability. You will find lively markets in Urdaibai, where the best seasonal local produce is sold. The best opportunity to consume healthy and quality products.
Gernika:
Monday market. Year round.
Special Saturday markets. First Saturday of the month, June to December. They are specialist markets.
Bermeo:
Tuesday mornings, market in Plaza Sabino Arana. Municipal market from 9:00 AM to 02.30 PM workdays. We recommend visiting it especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Mundaka: Tuesdays, next to the Lookout.
Busturia: Tuesdays, in the Axpe neighbourhood.
SHOWS
These are days indicated on the Urdaibai calendar. Special and fun shows that are held throughout the year, some with specific products and others with mass products… A tradition that unites the rural with the urban world. The most famous one is the Gernika Last Monday of October
