This is a small fishing village with fisherman’s cottages hanging from the slopes of Ogoño looking onto the sea full of very steep narrow cobblestone streets that reach the port full of traditional vessels.

Next to the port you can enjoy the only salt water swimming pool in Urdaibai. And you can climb up to the high part of the village to see the rotating bus platform.

In addition, one of the hiking trails (PR - BI 165) leaves from there that takes you to one of the best views on the Basque coast at the Ogoño Cape scenic lookout.
