Urdaibai is a destination that deserves a visit to discover, taste, and enjoy Basque food.

The food here is very good and diverse. We’re a land txakoli vineyards, and our Gernika peppers and beans are famous. We are the sea. We have a deeply rooted tradition of fishing thanks to our arrantzales (traditional fishermen) and our canning companies, we have top quality raw materials.

Food is a festival in Urdaibai. An example of that is Arrain Azoka de Bermeo, the fair on the last Monday in October in Gernika, or the rdaibaiko Esentziak food events.
