From Nabarniz, the highest town in Urdaibai, you can enjoy some of the most spectacular views, and even more so if you climb mount Iluntzar, a natural balcony with excellent panoramic views.

Like the majority of the rural villages in Urdaibai, Nabarniz has a good number of neighbourhoods, each one around a hermitage and with its natural enclaves, trails, and streams... And don’t forget there is usually unique food in every place. The specialities here are red beans and vegetable stew, an exquisite reward after a visit to this beautiful environment.
