Tourism in Protected Areas (ECST) is an initiative of the EUROPARC Federation which aims to promote the development of sustainable tourism in protected areas in Europe. It is a method and a voluntary commitment to the application of the principles of sustainable tourism among the different agents that wish to participate. It is also a prestigious international accreditation that recognizes this highly important work for the development of responsible high-quality tourism.

This task is taken on by companies and organizations in the area, and by visitors, to generate, together, high quality experiences that are enriching for all parties involved.
