Urdaibai’s two most spectacular beaches are in Ibarrangelu, and you can visit them all year round.

Laida is an amazing beach and the biggest in Urdaibai. The beach is chameleon-like, it changes size and shape... depending on the tides and currents.

It’s a perfect beach for surfing, paddle surfing, or kayaking...

Laga is a wild beach, open to the sea that is impressive before you even get there. Just because of how stunning the Ogoño Cape, an enormous limestone rock more than 300 metres tall, is that shelters it and makes a wall for the beach makes it one of the most beautiful in the Basque Country.

Much more open to the sea than Laida, there are almost always waves at Laga, and you can have a good time watching the surfers having fun with them.
