At the foot of a hill, in a covered Atlantic forest and coastal oak grove environment, Ajangiz is an invitation to take a stroll, and it’s a natural scenic lookout with splendid views over the alluvial plain of the Oka river.

From the same plaza, you can take the first steps to discover the magnificent cultural heritage, among which the imposing Asunción church (19th century), the handball court with its modern roof, the neoclassical city hall, and the Aristieta palace (17th century), which has been converted to a rural guest house.
