KORTEZUBI
The Basondo and Oma valleys in Kortezubi are the guardians of two of the greatest historic and artistic treasures of Urdaibai.
In addition to having magnificent examples of traditional Basque baserris, hermitages and a first-rate natural landscape, they have the Santimamiñe cave, which is the most important archaeological sites in Biscay and it’s a World Heritage site, and the Oma forest, one of the most famous works by Basque artist Agustín Ibarrola that currently has 34 groups of works made up of more than 800 trees in a truly magical setting.
