MORGA
Ten neighbourhoods with scattered baserris make up this village that is part of the Primitive Way of the Way of St. James and a decisory place in Biscay.
Morga is a very spread out town and it has a large number of charming hermitages, most of which are in excellent condition and have a high cultural-historical value.
In some of the hermitages, like San Esteban de Gerekiz, grave stelae from Roman times with perfectly conserved inscriptions have been found.
The mountain race, Mendatako mendi martxa, that is held every year is well known, and it’s a way to visit this rural area and experience the rich heritage and landscape.
